As part of our standard No Dues Required policy, we have strived to maintain WOS resources, including this website and our game servers, available to members without mandatory fees. While donations are always welcome, we also manage to garner significant income from the various click-on ads found on the website and forum pages, thanks to the fabulous efforts of our Supreme Webmaster, Deacon. These links do not pay, however, unless we click on them.
In order to keep WOS resources as "free" as possible, we encourage you to do your part by partipating in our new Click Daze campaign. We are designating one day a month to be a day you are particularly encouraged to Click On. All you have to do is spend a few minutes of time each month clicking on as many of the ads as you can find. No, you don't have to buy anything. And no, you will not be infected with Virii or asked to join any Secret Paramilitary Groups or sign your soul over to any religious cults. Just click on the ads!
Our designated Click Daze for the coming months are:
- March 17 - St. Patrick's Day (click twice if you're Irish)
- April 15 - Tax Day (and Mrs. Phlem's B-day ... click twice if you are getting a refund)
- May 5 - Cinco de Mayo (click dos times if you habla)
- June 21 - First Day of Summer and Longest Day of the Year (in the northern hemisphere) (click twice if you miss the rain and snow)
- July 4 - Independence Day (USA) (click twice if you are firing off illegal firewords AGAIN this year)
- August 8 - Phlem's B-day (click twice because Phlem sez so)
